Shirobako is probably the best Anime I’ve ever seen. I feel that’s a pretty bold opening statement but I’ve honestly never encountered this level of quality. Maybe it’s just a high from watching such a fun series but it’s really been an amazing ride. Engaging thorough and jam-packed full of beautiful characters, genuinely funny scenes and morals that actually come across as very appropriate without impeaching on the series, there’s little to no reason to dislike Shirobako.
Nanana’s Buried Treasure is about an interesting set of characters living on an artificial island made into a lavish education environment. Nanana Ryuugajou, who was murdered 10 years before the actual setting of the story is the founder of the island and The 7 genius students, known as the GREAT 7, who launch a project to construct an artificial island called Nanae Island to realize their leader, Nanana Ryugajo’s peculiar idea.
Arakawa is a series that I always struggle to put down why I actually love it so much. There are so many flaws I can list off the top of my head, but I still praise it. The best way I can think to describe Arakawa is an episodic Slice of life Comedy, with a slight narrative that only really comes up at the two book marking points of the story.
